Wild Flower

This cover girl really does her job to catch my attention, and have me buy this second art book of Shunya Yamashita - Wild Flower.

Cute, Funny, and Erotic, the three words are labeled in the cover of this art book. The female characters of Yamashita are no doubt Cute. But I am not so sure about Funny. The editor is probably lack of English vocabularies to use, or maybe he thinks that many Japanese don't know English well. Beside all that, I am disappointed at the Erotic part. I am not saying the quality is bad, but the book just don't have enough Erotic. I may sound a bit hentai here, but who knows about Yamashita's work is expecting some degree of Erotic in this art book (well, at least to me ^^;), and this Wild Flower just don't have enough.

I (and probably most figure collectors) like the original work for figure the most in this book. Many of the characters have already been released as PVC figures; for example, Rei Ayanami from Evangelion.
