Kyonko

Gender bender has been very popular for a while. You can find many your favorite anime/manga characters being gender-bendered. And amongst all these gender-bendered characters, Kyonko is my most beloved one.

Who is Kyonko? Well, the below image may give you a hint.

You probably have an idea who she is. She is the female form of Kyon from Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Of course, this is not official. She is a creation of some fan. I would like to know who first came up her. I probably never find the answer. Anyway, hat off to him/her.

When I first encountered Kyonko, I actually felt very weird and little gay. However, the more her fan arts I see, the more I like her. In fact, she has become a complete new character to me. I wish I can see her in season two. Actually, I come up a plot for them to use. Briefly, an alien like Yuki comes to earth and attacks Kyon, and Yuki protects Kyon again and defeats this alien; but before this alien leaves, she changes Kyon gender into female. Yuki can change Kyon back, but she uses too much energy in the fight and needs one day to regain her power; therefore, Kyon got to be female for one day, and there is our Kyonko lol~
