I think everyone interested in figurine knows about this figure. This figure is Kureha from Shining Tears by Max Factory, released last year October (I believe). Kureha is not my first figure, but she is the reason I got this expensive and addictive hobby.
And who was the bad guy introduced her to me? Danny Choo. After reading his review of Kureha, I'm completely hooked and started collecting figures. At the time I read his article, this figure was discontinued and it was nowhere to find, so how the hell I got her; well,.. that is another boring story. I got her for about 55 USD, it was new, and not from eBay; that is all you need to know.

Today, I was about to build a lightbox. But came accross HappySoda's tutorial (via cavalock's blog), and I prefer his method; IMHO, it is easier to build and more flexible. Here is some pictures of Kureha I took after I built my own mini studio.

My little studio.

I'm aware of some pictures are little blur; that is because of my shaky hands. Also, the lighting seems little dark. I think that is because the top light bulb's color temperature is too low. Have to experience more with the lighting and use different background materials.

Also yeah, you mentioned the problems regarding lighting and blur already. You probably should also experience a bit more with your camera. Look for still photoshooting options.
I ordered on Amazon Japan and shipped to my friend in Japan, then he sent to me... and that's it;

I have a 5300k bulb for my main light, but couldn't find a low watt with same color temperature for the second light(the one I used in here is about 2000k), so I bought a 75watt 6500k bulb to try it out this weekend.

I think that she's in most of the collection of people :)
She is beautiful :)
I believe Hatsune Miku is going to be 2008 fav , with her 3 versions already coming .
